Step 1: How do I close the day?
1.1 Currently there is no option for the user to close the day manually. The day is closed automatically as 6 AM CET.
Step 2: How does the automated day close work?
2.1 At 6 AM CET the day is closed automatically by the POS
2.2 This happens on our servers, so the POS doesnot need to be turned during that time.
Step 3: Why does the POS tell me I have to close the day?
3.1 If there were any unpaid orders, or not cashed in delivery orders, the POS can not close the day automatically. In this case, after starting the POS the following message will appear:
3.2 To close the day now, simply confirm "Okay, I want to close the day" and the day will automatically be closed.
3.3 The daily report for the previous day will be available after a few minutes.
Troubleshooting/Common Issues
The POS won't let me close the day.
Solution:
To confirm the "Close the day" message the logged-in user needs to have either owner or manager status. Other users do not have the option to confirm the message and instead need to log out. Please make sure to log in as owner or manager to confirm the closing of the day
