What is the Apple Developer Program?
If you have a branded iOS-app, you will need to renew your membership once a year for that app to continue being visible on the app store.
How to know when it needs to be renewed?
There are two main ways to know that it's time to renew your membership. These are:
1. The app is not visible in the App Store, and thus, cannot be downloaded.
2. Customers who already have the app downloaded may experience a number of bugs such as not being able to load properly, crashes and missing options.
If you have reason to believe your app may be experiencing issues, contact our support team, explain the issue, and they can help you determine if the problems you're facing is a one-time issue, or if it's related to an outdated membership.
How to renew your membership?
Below you will find a step-by-step guide on how to update your Apple Developer Program membership. Please note that part of the login process may not be possible for you and will need to be done while in contact with our support team.
1. Go to developer.apple.com and navigate to Account on the taskbar at the top of the screen. You will be asked to provide your apple-id and an associated password. If you do not know your login information, contact support and they will provide it for you.
2. Once the login details are provided, you will be asked to verify your identity.
One of the numbers will be linked directly to a phone located in the OrderYOYO office. If your number does not show up on this list, you will have to send it to our phone, and we'll provide you the 6-digit password needed to verify. If you have your number linked here, simply verify it yourself.
3. After logging in, you should see a red banner at the top-right with a button that says "Renew Membership". Click on this to begin the renewal process.
4. You might be asked to login again. Do this, and click on "Sign In".
5. Fill in your credit card information and finish the payment.
6. Once the payment has been completed, it may take up to 48 hours to proceed.
